1. Plan Configuration & Lifecycle
Flexible Validity: When creating a subscription plan, the Admin can define a specific Start and End Date or select a "Forever" option, allowing the plan to remain active indefinitely.

Active Visibility: The "Share Plan" page for both Admins and Customers will dynamically filter to show only those plans where the Start Date is greater than or equal to the current date.

2. Customer Enrollment & Customization
Selective Inputs: During plan selection, the system will capture the Customer’s Last Name and an optional Subscription Duration.

Automated Termination Logic: * If the customer specifies a Duration or End Date, the system will automatically schedule the cancellation of the subscription upon reaching that date.

If no end date is provided, the subscription will remain active until manually terminated or until the base plan expires.

3. Administrative Overrides & Overruling
"Forever" Priority: If the Admin has designated a plan as "Forever," this setting takes precedence. Even if a customer selects an end date, the subscription will not automatically terminate, ensuring continuity for high-value or permanent tiers.

4. Communication & Notification Strategy
Event-Driven Alerts: The system will trigger automated, case-specific email notifications upon the Cancellation or Completion of a subscription. These templates will be tailored to the specific reason for termination (e.g., user-requested, expiration, or plan conclusion).

Critical Cases for You to Consider:
The "Forever" Conflict: if Admin chooses "Forever," the customer's end date choice is ignored. Recommendation: You should show a tooltip or notice to the customer during checkout saying "This is a permanent plan and will not auto-cancel" to avoid confusion.

Timezone Sync: Ensure the "Current Date" check uses a consistent proper timezone to avoid plans appearing or disappearing at different times for users in different countries.
