Description

Environment: Production
Module: Sales → Sale Details → Print
Impact: Blocks user from working on main application while print tab is open.

Steps to Reproduce:

Login to Production.

Go to Sales Page.

Open any Sale Details.

Click Print → Click Print again in browser popup.

Observe that the Print Preview page opens in a new browser tab.

Actual Result:

Print preview opens in a new tab ✅

Main application tab becomes unresponsive / not working ❌

User cannot click or continue working in the original application tab until the print tab is closed ❌

Expected Result:

Even if Print Preview opens in a new tab, the main application tab must still work normally ✅

Both tabs should function independently without blocking user actions ✅

Example:
Current behavior: When print tab opens → main app stops responding (incorrect ❌)
Expected behavior: Print tab opens → main app still works (correct ✅)

TL Confirmation Needed

Please confirm with Team Lead (TL):

Whether print preview should open in new tab or same tab.

And verify tab blocking behavior is not expected.

Current: Printed bill has content in center but 40–60% of paper is empty (incorrect ❌)
Expected: Bill should be compact like standard POS print (clean and less white space ✅)
