Bug #3447
openMissing Spam Disclaimer in Emails
0%
Description
Issue:
Outgoing emails (such as registration, notification, or promotional emails) do not include a standard spam disclaimer or footer note, which may lead to deliverability issues or be flagged as spam by certain email providers.
Expected Result:
All outgoing emails should include a proper disclaimer at the bottom, such as:
"You are receiving this email because you registered with EventCrux. If you believe this was a mistake, please ignore or contact support."
Steps to Reproduce:
Trigger an email (e.g., registration success or notification).
Open the email and scroll to the footer.
Observe that no spam disclaimer or unsubscribe note is included.
Impact:
Emails may be marked as spam or junk.
Violates best practices for email deliverability and user trust.
May affect communication with users and platform credibility.
Recommended Fix:
Add a consistent spam disclaimer/footer to all email templates.
Ensure it includes sender identity, reason for the email, and contact or unsubscribe option if applicable.
