Today, I completed a detailed end-to-end review and validation of the Quotations module across the RegalSolar and AppForSolar projects, covering both backend and frontend implementations. I verified the core components, including controllers, services, routes, database schemas, email templates, quotation listings, tables, creation and editing forms, quotation details, and confirmation workflows. The analysis confirmed that AppForSolar already supports all the quotation features available in RegalSolar, with additional improvements in multi-tenant handling, customer approval workflows, document uploads after approval, TypeScript safety, save-action management, and event handling.
I also enhanced the quotation table by updating the Acceptance Deadline column to display "Already Accepted" in green for accepted quotations, improving clarity and eliminating irrelevant deadline information. Additionally, I completed end-to-end testing across the projects, identified and resolved the issues encountered during validation, and fixed the pending inventory-related issues. I verified the relevant application workflows to ensure smoother functionality and a more consistent user experience. The `304 Not Modified` response observed on the notifications API was also investigated and confirmed to be normal browser/server caching behavior, requiring no further action.
