1. Page Width & Grid Alignment (container-custom)
Problem: The ticket pages were previously constrained inside a narrower max-w-5xl / max-w-4xl box, causing the page content to appear indented and misaligned with the breadcrumbs (Home > Support Tickets) above it.
Solution: Standardized the container to .container-custom across both

SupportTicketsPage.tsx
and

SupportTicketDetail.tsx
, achieving exact pixel alignment with

AutoBreadcrumbs.tsx
across all viewports.
2. Clean E-commerce Header & Elimination of Bulky Widgets
Problem: The intermediate design contained oversized green headphone badges and 4 large vertical KPI cards (ALL TICKETS 9, NEEDS REPLY 0, etc.) that consumed excessive vertical space and felt like an admin dashboard rather than an e-commerce storefront.
Solution: Removed the KPI blocks in favor of a clean, lightweight store header featuring a clear title, subtitle, refresh button, and a brand-styled + Raise a Ticket action button.
3. Integrated Filtering & Instant Search
Status Filter Pills: Designed compact, horizontally scrollable status pills (All, Needs reply, In progress, etc.) with a pulsing dot for items requiring customer action.
Client-Side Instant Search: Added a debounced search input allowing customers to find tickets by Ticket ID, Order ID, or Subject keywords instantly without triggering unnecessary server queries.
4. Streamlined Ticket Cards (Modeled after OrderItemCard)
Structured each card with a clean top metadata bar (Ticket #TKT-XXXX, creation date, category pill, and status badge).
Clean body layout displaying the subject, an optional description excerpt, target resolution ETA, and a subtle View → action.
5. Two-Column Ticket Detail Page (

SupportTicketDetail.tsx
)
Left Column: Ticket header card with copyable Ticket ID, linked order tag with direct navigation, resolution summary box, chat message history, and a rich reply composer.
Right Column: Structured summary sidebar, visual status stepper (Raised → Assigned → In Progress → Resolved), and urgent customer care actions (WhatsApp and phone contact links).

1. Executive Summary
Over the recent iterations, the Support / Service Desk module (evergreen_pos_fe) was upgraded to adhere to the standardized Evergreen POS Design System (matching pages like

Clients
and

Quote Details
). Additionally, critical API payload bugs and UI tab-switching edge cases were identified and resolved.

2. Work Update: Detailed Descriptions
1. Tickets List Page (

ServiceDeskTickets.tsx
)
Card Filter Bar: Transformed plain text tabs into interactive CustomCard stat cards wrapped inside an expandable CollapsibleStatsSection with live ticket counts.
Standard Controls: Replaced raw search inputs with rounded TextField (12px border-radius), green focus ring (#22C55E), ResetFilterButton, and POS-standard ResponsivePaginationControls.
Instant Re-Fetch on Card Click: Fixed the issue where clicking the currently active tab (such as All Open) didn't trigger an API request. Clicking any active card now immediately calls fetchTickets() and fetchTabCounts().
2. Ticket Details Page (

ServiceDeskTicketDetail.tsx
)
Sticky Header: Standard sticky full-width POS header featuring <BackArrow />, dynamic ticket title ({subject} Details), ticket number pill badge, status badges, and action buttons (Accept, Change ETA, Ask customer, Resolve, Reassign).
Compact 3-Column Info Card: Fixed excessive height and divider gaps by replacing combined spacing with columnSpacing and rowSpacing={0}, reducing vertical padding (py: 1.25), and neatly aligning customer, SLA, and ticket info.
Payload Serialization: Fixed resolveTicket and askCustomer calls to send plain string values, preventing double-nested JSON payloads.
3. Settings Page (

ServiceDeskSettings.tsx
)
Full-Width POS Layout: Converted the constrained container to a full-width PageContainer, featuring standard <BackArrow /> navigation, bold typography, and header action buttons (Reset, Save Changes).
Modernized Form Elements: Enhanced availability toggle banner with live workload chips, clean InputNumber and TimePicker controls, and a responsive multi-column grid (repeat(4, 1fr)) for category selection.
4. Shared Badges & API Layer (

ticketBadges.tsx
&

serviceDeskApi.ts
)
Pill Badges: Upgraded default square AntD tags to modern rounded pills (borderRadius: '20px') with colored status dots. Priority (Medium) now uses a distinct teal palette to avoid visual confusion with the blue In Progress badge.
API Payload Resilience: Updated resolveTicket, askCustomer, acceptTicket, and updateEta in serviceDeskApi.ts to unwrap both plain string and object arguments, guaranteeing single-level JSON payload delivery to the backend.
