Prevented premature cancellation: Updated webhook handlers to keep subscriber status as past_due instead of cancelling when Stripe payment retries are exhausted.
Protected scheduled visits: Configured upcoming service jobs to be placed on OnHold rather than permanently deleted, preserving visits for when the customer pays.
Suppressed premature settlements: Disabled cancellation settlement calculations on final retry failures to keep subscriber balances open and collectible.
Standardized product subscriptions: Aligned product subscription payment failure logic to maintain past_due status and freeze fulfillments without terminating contracts.
Updated notifications: Adjusted email and SMS alerts for admins and customers to report Past-Due (Visits on Hold) instead of false cancellation notices.
Enhanced customer email template: Added an exhausted-retries notice in the payment failed template guiding customers to settle their balance to resume on-hold visits.
