Reviewed the entire Solar Studio end-to-end user journey, from initial project creation through layout design, simulation, and proposal output. Documented key functional missing features, recommended specific UX optimizations to speed up the design process, and outlined business process improvements to boost proposal conversion rates.

Improved the PCA Phase 1 application screen and the dashboard in appforsolar_new_fe. PCA Phase 1 now shows a one-time "Refresh from Documents" popup when a project opens, asking staff to re-read the utility bill and plan set before filling the form. A highlighted Refresh button and an amber "refresh before you fill" banner stay on the page, and the banner turns into a green confirmation once the form has been refreshed. While the documents are re-read, a "Scanning the project documents" loader shows. A new Create Electrical Contractor modal lets staff save a contractor (company, contact person, license number and expiry) from the SREC Part 1 form. It is then available on any project's ADI Form 1 and can be selected and autofilled straight away. A duplicate license number is rejected with a clear message. Site Assessment gained a "Both" roof-type option (flat and pitched). The dashboard overview now has a stage tracker that follows the new stage order, with PCA Phase 1 and 2 as separate stages. It folds old stage names into the new ones so older projects still count. It also has donut charts with a total in the centre. Separately, a backend commit that day only updated .env.development. The new screens are type-checked by the project build but I haven't seen them run in a browser, and these were committed and merged by you, not by me.
