Description
Here is the summary of the tasks and feature upgrades completed today across the Solar Energy app:
1. Events Module UI/UX Upgrades
Field Organization: Redesigned the event creation form into 3 logical sections (General Information, Schedule & Dates, and Location Details) with optimized proportions.
Auto-generated Slugs: Implemented real-time URL Slug generation as you type the event name.
Date Restrictions: Programmed timezone-aligned start date initialization, and locked event selectors to future dates only (preventing back-dating).
Location Fields: Added new zipcode and country fields in the backend database schema and populated them through the frontend forms.
Status Defaulting: Removed the manual status select dropdown, defaulting newly created events to "active" automatically.
2. Referral Analytics Redesign (High-Fidelity)
Summary View: Rebuilt the referral statistics page featuring KPI cards with custom SVG sparklines, and a searchable/paginated Team Referrers table with user initials avatars, role tags, and copyable code badges.
Detailed View: Created member profiles containing joined dates, interactive breadcrumbs, copy/share links, a custom SVG Area Chart (Referrals Over Time), and an SVG Donut Chart (Referrals by Status).
Conversion Tracking: Connected Customer and Project schemas on the backend to dynamically calculate and return exact conversion dates (convertedAt) based on when their project was initialized.
Admin Controls: Registered backend endpoints allowing Admins/SuperAdmins to view referral stats for any specific team member.
3. Real-Time Form Input Validations
Applied strict validation constraints on the Public Referral Form and the Public Event Registration Form:
First/Last Name: Blocked numeric inputs (displays "should not contain numbers" error).
Email: Enforced standard structure (must contain @ and end with .com).
Phone: Enforced exactly 10 digits (numbers only, no spaces or special symbols).
Real-time Trigger: Form validations run dynamically as the user enters data, showing visual red borders and helper texts instantly, and clearing as soon as the user corrects their input.
4. Sites Visited Module Redesign
KPI Metrics: Upgraded the list page to show three premium summary cards (Open, Scheduled, Completed) styled with custom ring shadows and icons.
Refined Table & Badges: Implemented customer initials avatars, custom light status badges (Pending, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, Not Required, Cancelled), and descriptive warning chips indicating exactly how many assessment fields are still missing.
Advanced Controls: Integrated search query inputs, status select filters, and list pagination.
Details Header: Styled the Site Visit Details page banner with a modern gradient card overlay.
5. Solar Design Studio UI/UX Redesign
List View: Refactored the list cards with smooth hover lift animations, status badges (Draft/Finalized), initials avatars, and styled metric icons (kW, Panel count, kWh/yr).
Hero Banner: Styled the Hero header banner using a premium indigo-amber gradient background, matching the brand guidelines.
Studio Header: Redesigned the design workspace banner with clean status chips and typography.
All frontend and backend changes have been compiled, verified with production builds, and committed to Git.
