Backend
In-house delivery tracking: added assignedDeliveryUser field to orders; when a delivery rider updates an order's status, they're now auto-assigned to it (no admin step needed)
New endpoint: GET /orders/delivery-history — returns a delivery rider's own completed deliveries, with optional date range
New endpoint: POST /bookings/walk-in — lets POS record a walk-in dine-in order as a booking, so occupied tables show up alongside reservations
Reports: delivery report now separates "in-house" deliveries from DoorDash/Uber Eats, shows an in-house order count, and lists the assigned rider's name per order
Customer portal API: now returns delivery/deliveryAddress fields so the customer app can show live tracking
Loosened paymentMethod schema validation (removed the fixed enum) to support dynamic/custom payment methods
Frontend / POS
New "My Deliveries" page: lets delivery riders view their past deliveries (customer, address, status, amount), filterable by date — added a "Pickup History" sidebar link (admin/manager/delivery roles only)
"Get Directions" button: replaced the old map-search link with real turn-by-turn Google Maps directions, now works off the typed address even without GPS coordinates
Kitchen screens: now only show today's orders, so old orders stop cluttering the kitchen display
Reports page: shows the new in-house delivery category and rider names
POS payment flow overhaul: staff can display a payment QR code, switch payment method inline, and attach a transaction reference number for cash/alternate payments
Walk-in POS orders now auto-create a booking entry (wired to the new backend endpoint)
Customer App
New live delivery map component: shows driver + customer location on a map with auto-panning, used in a new "Track Live" modal on the order history page
Expanded order status display: full lifecycle now shown (preparing, ready-for-pickup, on-the-way, etc.) instead of just pending/confirmed/cancelled
Catering-specific feedback: rating prompts now say "Rate Event" / "How was your catering event?" for catering orders instead of generic food-order copy
Fixed a missing-icon-import bug found during review (Clock, Flame, PackageSearch) that would have broken the build
